The studios dashboard has been redesigned to center on the studio itself, making it easier to manage sessions and settings in one place.

Resend scheduled session invites

You can now resend an invite for a scheduled session, and the system now catches and flags dead mail credentials before invites silently fail.

Full recording library on desktop

Desktop now supports save-to-library with rename, delete, expiry badges, in-app playback, review-your-take, a storage quota bar, and recovery for uploads that didn't finish.

Guest join via magic link

Guests can now join a studio session directly through a magic link on desktop, no separate sign-in flow required.

License status visibility on desktop

Desktop now surfaces license expiry warnings and subscription, trial, and past-due status directly in the app.

More reliable recordings

Recording now uses crash-safe, always-fragmented MP4 on macOS with an integrity check on stop, and stop/quit coordination on Windows and macOS is more robust to prevent corrupted or truncated takes.

Stronger licensing and security

Licensing is now machine-bound and enforced on the client, credential rotation happens automatically, and desktop sessions can be revoked per user. Save paths and permission handling are also more tightly locked down.

Fewer silent failures on desktop

Sign-in, host/join, admit/deny, and upload errors now surface clear messages instead of failing silently, and camera access is properly released after use.

Scheduling no longer requires going live first

You can now schedule a session without first starting it live, and the AM/PM setting no longer gets dropped.

Android build restored

Shipped the Android build that the 2.8.11 release failed to deliver.

Recording stop bugs fixed

Fixed cases on Windows and macOS where stopping a recording could destroy or truncate the take, along with audio/video timestamp accuracy issues.
